Everything you need to manage the full order lifecycle — from placement to fulfilment.

Order lifecycle

Every Shopvo order moves through a series of statuses as it is processed and fulfilled:

PENDING

Order received but payment not yet confirmed.

PROCESSING

Payment confirmed. Admin is preparing the order.

SHIPPED

Order dispatched. Tracking number available.

DELIVERED

Order received by the customer.

CANCELLED

Order cancelled before fulfilment. Inventory restored.

REFUNDED

Payment returned to the customer.

How orders are created

Orders are created automatically when a customer completes checkout. The checkout flow:

  1. Customer adds items to cart and proceeds to checkout.
  2. Shopvo creates a Checkout Session and reserves inventory for the items.
  3. Customer enters shipping address, selects a shipping method, and pays.
  4. Payment is confirmed; Shopvo creates the Order and deducts inventory.
  5. Admin receives a notification and the order appears in the Orders list.

You can also create orders manually from the admin at Orders → New Order.

Fulfilling orders

Open any order in the admin to access fulfillment actions:

  • Mark as Processing — you have accepted the order and are preparing it.
  • Mark as Shipped — enter a tracking number and carrier. Customer receives a notification.
  • Mark as Delivered — customer confirms receipt, or you mark it manually.
  • Cancel Order — cancels the order and restores inventory. Refund must be issued separately.

Payment statuses

Each order also has a separate payment status:

PENDING

Awaiting payment confirmation.

PAID

Payment successfully captured.

FAILED

Payment attempt failed. Order remains in pending.

REFUNDED

Full or partial refund issued.

Order details

Each order page shows:

Line Items

Products ordered with quantity, variant, and unit price.

Shipping Address

Delivery name and address.

Billing Address

Billing name and address (may differ from shipping).

Shipping Method

Selected carrier and rate.

Payment Method

Gateway used and last 4 digits (if card).

Totals

Subtotal, discount, shipping, tax, and grand total.

Custom Attributes

Checkout extras like gift message or pickup date.

Order Timeline

Full event history with timestamps.

Abandoned carts

When a customer adds items to their cart but does not complete checkout, Shopvo tracks this as an Abandoned Cart. View them at Abandoned Carts in the sidebar.

You can configure automated recovery emails from Settings → Notifications. Recovery emails are sent 1, 6, and 24 hours after abandonment (configurable).
