Terms of Service

1. Acceptance
By registering for or using the Shopvo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These Terms apply to all users, including store owners, team members, and developers using the API.
2. The Service
Shopvo provides a multi-tenant e-commerce platform that allows users to create and manage online stores, accept payments, manage products and orders, and integrate with third-party services via an API. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time with reasonable notice.
3. Account registration
- You must be at least 18 years old to register an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
- One person may not maintain more than one free account.
4. Subscription & billing
Access to paid features requires an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. We use Stripe for payment processing. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Shopvo to:
- Sell illegal products or services.
- Engage in fraudulent transactions or money laundering.
- Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) to your customers.
- Store or process cardholder data in violation of PCI DSS.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or Shopvo systems.
- Reverse-engineer or resell the Shopvo platform.
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension without refund.
6. Your content
You retain ownership of all content you upload to Shopvo (products, images, text, etc.). By uploading content, you grant Shopvo a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and transmit that content for the purpose of operating the Service.
7. Data & privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
8. Intellectual property
The Shopvo name, logo, and platform software are owned by Shopvo and may not be used without our prior written consent. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shopvo is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our aggregate liability to you will not exceed the total fees paid by you to Shopvo in the three months preceding the claim.
10. Service uptime
We target 99.9% uptime. Planned maintenance will be communicated at least 24 hours in advance wherever possible. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party services (DNS, CDN, payment gateways) or circumstances outside our control.
11. Termination
Either party may terminate these Terms at any time. Upon termination, your access to the Service is revoked. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow you to export it, after which it will be deleted.
12. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
